Internship
Attracting good students to Mainz does not start at the master & Diplom level, but much earlier at the undergraduate and preliminary Diplom or Bachelor’s level. Excellent students can be attracted by different measures. One outstanding element of MAINZ is the internship programme for students in the 7th semester at the University of Mainz. A similar programme has already been established more than a decade ago. MAINZ offers additional 10 fellowships to allow students to spend one term (up to nine months) at international partner universities to strengthen cooperation with these universities. Studies abroad should focus on the research areas polymer science or materials science of MAINZ.
