PhD students are strongly encouraged to attend lectures. Within the general teaching program a selection of lectures are recommended to the Ph.D. students by their respective thesis committee.

Lectures are split into three categories, namely (a) scientific topics which are closely related to the research project, (b) scientific topics covering more general and interdisciplinary aspects (MAINZ), and (c) non-scientific content (JGU).
